This is HaiKu

|
|
" Dear Jane,
I am sending you pictures of HaiKu (aka Mighty Mouse) which were taken at one year. As you can see, he is absolutely gorgeous! I cannot begin to tell you how much joy he has brought to our family.
He is one of your pocket puppies. He now weighs 6 pounds, but you would have a hard time convincing him of that! He has the best temperament and gets along well with everyone.
I am so thankful this little guy came to our house to live. The only problem is, I would like to have about a dozen more!"

This is Yum Yum and Ming

|
| "Hi Mrs. Rich—we have had Cheyenne aka Yum-Yum for just over a year now. She and our “original” shih tzu, Ming, are the dearest of friends, though she, in her puppy ways, still loves to provoke him to play, several times each day. Before she came to live with us, Ming was not very sociable with other dogs. We think he was untimely removed from his kennel family. But now he is as friendly and fearless toward dogs as Yum-Yum. I am sorry we don’t have better pictures of the two, but we are not very much into photographs. I attach a couple. Nothing really shows how cute they are. Yum is surely the cutest of the two. We had her “fixed” several months ago. Just wanted to tell you how much we love her and how delighted we are. Blessings" |

Scupper in her life jacket. & Scupper for Halloween. |
|
"Hi Lisa. Wow, we are so totally in love with this little angel. If t here was ever a perfect puppy - perfect breed, Shih Tzu is it! I was so busy at the airport when I called - sorry if I was distracted. After a 30 minute delay in the flight, there was another 30 minute wait for Scupper to arrive. There were two other families awaiting arrival of their puppies - we were joking about being in labor... Anyway the puppies were finally wheeled in but not brought out to the ticket counter. This automatic door would open and we'd see puppy faces in their carriers and then the door would close. It only too about two open and close sequences and Scupper wanted to see what was going on. She was happy and wagging after being locked up for 6 hours! Very impressive. She did the rounds with me yesterday picking out her toys and puddle pads. She met all of my doggy friends and today some friends came over with their Malteese puppies for a play time. She went on a two-hour roundtrip car ride with me today to take my youngest son back to college - no car sickness - she whined and we stopped for a potty break and then back into the car for the rest of the trip. She is fine with the cats and she and Ally (our beagle) are becoming friends. She has sneezed twice tonight - but appears absolutly fine. I will mention that tomorrow at her vet checkup at 4:15. I've enclosed a picture of Scupper trying on her life jacket - my husband is over the top! I've never seen him so absolutly smitten - love at first sight. .... Thanks again - what a beautiful little girl she is! "

 Mia and Max
"Hi,
Just wanted to you some pictures of Mia (this is what we named her). Now we have Max and Mia! We just love her - she is so sweet. She's growing fast too...... Mostly, we just love her to death and so does Max love having a playmate, He's become very protective of her. Thank you again, for a wonderful little ball of energy!"

"Hi Jane,
... I just wanted to send you a couple of recent photos of our little Mia who we absolutely adore. She is the sweetest little girl (a princess really). She is really spoiled. Her hair stayed real light and fluffy as you can see. She has the greatest personality and her interaction with Max just keeps us laughing all day! She's also very small at just 6.5 lbs at 11 months old." |
"Enjoy the pictures!" |

  Chu Chi |
|
"Chu Chi is almost 11 months old and is a delight. His behavior is terrific and he’s a wonderful dog and companion. Sleeps on our bed with Bosco(10 yr old Poodle) at night. Waits for me to take a shower and then the three of us go for the morning walk. The park gets watered in the early morning so he gets pretty wet on the legs, stomach, and beard. At home, dry him off with a towel and do the morning combing before I leave for work. He gets combed twice/day. Morning and night. He has only been to the groomer once at about 8 months. She cut him into shape and said, just let him grow out. I finally mastered the top knot and it stays for about 2-3 days and then I re-do it. He just lays down and lets me groom him, never a complaint. His hair is about 9-10 inches long, he takes a lot of time to comb through. About 10 minutes each time. ...... He plays a lot with Bosco and my son brings over his terrier and they play as well. He gets along with every dog we’ve socialized him with. Large or small, it doesn’t matter. Even took him across the street to see the Cats and he walks up to them and sniffs their face and isn’t aggressive. We have a parrot that comes over to the couch to visit us when we are watching TV and I hold him by his collar and he just puts his head on the arm of the couch and licks the parrot as he walks by. No aggressive tendencies. ..." |

"Thanks.
We are home and she is having her first "shower."
Flight was right on time. It took them about 10 minutes to get her to us. We took her out to the grass to piddle and drink a couple of laps of water and then home - all in less than an hour from the time the flight arrived.
We let her out in the backyard to do a little investigating and then brought her inside and showed her where her food and water bowl are. She has just gotten out of the shower and is doing the "slide around on her nose" routine. Grace will blow dry her to finish off." |

"Hi Jane
Just wanted to share some pics of Clifton and Zoe. Clifton is now 2 years and almost 4 months old and Zoe is now 10 months old. I think she is done growing as she hasn’t gained any weight or gotten taller in a couple months. She’s about 6 pounds. They are each other’s best friend. It took Clifton about a week or so to get used to her and how active she was (and still is). They are absolutely adorable. The entire neighborhood knows them and everyone is always impressed by their demeanor and stunning good looks. " |

This is Poppy
 Custom Made Dog House

A birthday party for the puppies.

|
| "Hi, here are the kids pictures. The 1st picture with the dog house in it was from last spring, the puppy in that picture with Holly is Casey, my son's puppy, also a Rich Kennels pup. ... These are pictures of the puppy/kitty house that my husband Mel built. It actually covers the dog door exit from our house. They go from our house, through the dog door, into the dog house, and then outside. My husband put the little window in special for my kitty SuLing, she likes to sit inside the little house, where the sun can shine truough the window, but she's still outside our house. I can't begin to tell you how thrilled we are with our Rich Kennels Puppies. You know that if we have a chanch to recommend your puppies to anyone we are delighted to do it. Everyone of the 6 puppies that you have sold to my friends and family have been a joy. Also, thank you again for knowing that Poppy would be the absolutely perfect puppy for me, she is wonderful." |

  Sugar and Spice
|
|
"Sugar and Spice are just fine and wanted to say hi. They are growing like weeds. Speaking of weeds they go out in the yard and bring in all kinds of "treasures" weeds, sticks, old poop and so on. They are so cute and are such a terrorizing couple. Sugar has a real high squeaky bark and spice (the little one) has a deep bark. Just the opposite of their size. We are nearly complete with the "house breaking" they are so smart. They love the 100 degree weather but stay in when it gets to 110."
